Doctors are looking at internal organs from the cloud

Clinicians are becoming very tech savvy and making use of the latest technology.  Technology that is cloud based (i.e. uses the internet to access services) means that smart phones like the iPhone or iPad are fast becoming essential in the clinic.  The latest offering is Endosync.  As reported by mHealth

Envisionier is taking another leap with the introduction of its Endoscync wireless video transmitter and companion iPad app. Together, these allow any endoscope to send its video data wirelessly to a nearby iPad, which thus replaces the traditional video monitor as well as functioning as a simple report generator.

If you are anxious to try it – it’s launching in March.
